Dr. David C. Fabrey, M.D., a graduate of Dartmouth College (1970) and Ohio State University College of Medicine (1973), is a licensed physician in the state of Ohio. Founder and Medical Director of The Holistic Health Center of Cincinnati since 1978, Dr. Fabrey is a private practice family physician providing comprehensive holistic health care to the Greater Cincinnati Area. Dr. Fabrey also serves the lay and medical community through educational seminars, workshops and study groups.
Janice T. Vell, B.A., L.M.T. has developed a unique healing practice through her background in Massage, Neuromuscular, CranioSacral and Energy-based therapies, creating an individualized approach for pain relief and health enhancement. Licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board as a Massage Therapist, Janice is a graduate of SHI Integrative Medical Massage School in Lebanon, Ohio. Martyn Thomas, A.P., Dipl. Ac. is an Acupuncturist certified through NCCAOM (National Commission of Certification of Acupuncturists & Oriental Medicine) and is a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) specializing in Acupuncture and Chinese herbs for chronic problems. Originally from Great Britain, where he obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering, Martyn went on to study and graduate with honors from the Acupuncture Acupressure Institute in Miami, Florida. Martyn's clinical experience, combined with his personal caring touch, provides his patients with the highest quality of health care.
Valerie Chronis Bickett, M.A., L.M.T. is a poet—Triandafilo, Athanasia Unlimited, 2009. She holds an M.A. in English from Florida State University, and has 30 years experience as a teacher of English and Creative Writing. Valerie is also a graduate of the Lebanon School of Massage and a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Ohio.
Susan F. Glassmeyer, B.S., L.M.T. is Co-Director of The Holistic Health Center of Cincinnati, a Feldenkrais® Teacher and Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Ohio. Susan holds a degree in Psychophysiology and is a graduate of the Kentucky Center of Psychosynthesis. Susan offers integrative body-oriented therapy to individuals as well as group processes. Joyce Minkler, M.Ed. Joyce has been a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio and Kentucky for the past 30 years. In 2015 she retired from clinical practice and now works with individuals and groups as a Psychosynthesis guide and educator. Joyce completed training at the Kentucky Center for Psychosynthesis in 1985 and is a member of the Center’s training staff. She has presented numerous workshops, days of reflection and educational courses based in Psychosythesis theory and practice and co-directed a year long training program in Cincinnati with Susan F. Glassmeyer.
Joyce’s current interest is in the intersection of personal/spiritual growth and the developing field of ecopsychology, exploring the interconnection of all of life— physical, mental, spiritual, emotional—in the context of this beautiful planet which sustains us all.
